Paul Jenkins

Paul Jenkins cultivates an eclectic musical career as a keyboardist and singer. A member of the Toronto Consort and the Aradia Ensemble, he has made solo appearances with several of Canada's other leading early music groups, including Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra, Opera Atelier and La Nef. He is Organist and Director of Music at Blessed Sacrament Church in Toronto.

Other collaborations include the Cleveland baroque orchestra Apollo's Fire, the Windsor, Kitchener-Waterloo and Toronto Symphony Orchestras, Toronto Philharmonia, Orchestra London, the Esprit Orchestra and Soundstreams Canada, among others. In addition to touring he has made numerous festival appearances, broadcasts and recordings.

Paul named the recital series Music Mondays at Church of the Holy Trinity and guided it artistically for its first decade. This summer he looks forward to performances in St. John's, Nfld. in June with Opera on the Avalon and the completion of a portable midi organ console by the builder of his seven rank chamber organ, Thomas Linken.
